Atlassian and DevOps Tools Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance our central build and deployment infrastructure to ensure a stable and effective software lifecycle in coordination with your colleagues.
• Administer the Atlassian stack including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, actively shaping these platforms through workflows, permission schemes, automations, and plugins.
• Provide consultation and support to internal and external users of the platforms you manage, answering technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to evolve the system landscape, implement integrations, and maintain existing interfaces.
• Ensure availability, security, and currency of the systems, and assist with updates and technical improvements in partnership with the system administration team.
• Ideally, support operations of other DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Nexus and contribute to continuous improvements of our development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science or a related field, a comparable technical training, or equivalent professional experience.
• Current expertise and hands-on experience in administering the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) with preferably demonstrable knowledge in managing build tools like Jenkins and Nexus or similar.
• Experience with cloud operations is advantageous, particularly with Jira and Confluence in Atlassian Cloud, including supporting or executing migrations to the cloud.
• Familiarity with technical and functional configuration of Atlassian and build tools.
• A strong team orientation combined with an independent, structured working style, confident communication skills, strong result and process focus, and good command of German and English.
