Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and visual appeal of bakery items such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and buns.
• Ensure the bakery section is fully stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Accurately label merchandise with correct pricing.
• Adhere to food safety protocols including cold chain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature logging, food handling, product rotation, sell-by and expiration date management.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures along with cleaning guidelines.
• Implement correct procedures for ordering, markdowns, price increases, stock adjustments, product display, tagging, and labeling.
• Prepare bakery products by precisely following thawing and baking instructions to maintain product quality and appearance.
• Secure bakery displays appropriately and safely.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.05.
