Role Overview

We invite experienced engineers to join our geotechnical and tunnelling design team as Associate or Senior Engineers. In this role, you will employ robust engineering methods to design and execute a variety of geotechnical and tunnelling projects including deep excavations, bored and mined tunnels, foundation works, slope engineering, and ground improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Develop concept designs and construction sequencing strategies for geotechnical and tunnelling projects.
• Perform detailed geotechnical analyses and design for underground structures and foundations.
• Produce comprehensive design calculations and high-standard reports for client and regulatory authorities.
• Create clear and concise technical documentation and presentations.
• Collaborate with BIM and CAD teams to generate precise models and drawings compliant with standards.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to integrate designs.

Additional duties may include:

• Planning and analyzing geotechnical investigations to create interpretative and baseline reports.
• Serving as the primary liaison with clients and authorities to secure design approvals.
• Managing smaller projects or segments of larger assignments.
• Preparing and delivering tender proposals and project presentations.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree accredited by the Singapore PE Board.
• Possession of an M.Sc. or M.Eng. in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D geotechnical and structural analysis software such as PLAXIS, Slide2, Slope/W, UDEC, SWedge, UnWedge, or STAAD.Pro.
• Relevant experience in underground construction, including site and design office exposure, is advantageous.
