Position Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned Associate or Principal Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical design and technical delivery for key interdisciplinary projects in the Middle East. This role will be primarily located in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts and ensure technical delivery excellence.
• Develop, assess, and supervise mechanical design processes from concept through tender phases.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to deliver compliant and robust engineering solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess over 12 years of pertinent experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Demonstrated consultancy background handling mid-to-large scale building and infrastructure projects.
• Sound technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, heating, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Capability to prepare and review design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, reports, and submissions.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical design within the Middle East, preferably involving projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
• Awareness of and compliance with international standards, codes, as well as Middle Eastern regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and mechanical design or calculation software.
• Exemplary technical leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Professional registration or chartership is considered advantageous.
