Job description
Role Overview
The Associate Planning & Performance Management Analyst plays a vital support role in the Planning & Performance Management (P&PM) department by assisting with business planning, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring accurate accountability reporting. The analyst works collaboratively with P&PM team members to develop insightful analytical outputs that aid in strategic decision-making and enhance organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist P&PM analysts in producing analytical findings and crafting recommendations tied to business planning, performance evaluation, and accountability efforts.
- Help prepare and facilitate business planning activities, including data analysis and creation of supportive documentation.
- Collect, organize, validate, and analyze relevant performance and business data to support ongoing tracking and measurement processes.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, key performance indicators, and critical areas in performance analysis that require management focus.
- Contribute to assembling performance reports, management presentations, dashboards, and other P&PM related deliverables.
- Support accountability reporting by delivering accurate and timely analysis to involved stakeholders.
- Translate business data into actionable insights and formulate pertinent recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with P&PM teams and internal departments to drive planning and performance initiatives.
- Effectively communicate analytical findings through comprehensive written reports and oral presentations.
- Carry out additional staff, analytical, and related duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or closely related areas.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in planning, performance management, business analysis, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, communication, and presentation.
- Capability to interpret business and performance information and communicate results clearly and effectively.
- Preference for candidates holding certifications such as CMA, CFA, CPA, or qualifications related to KPI tracking.
- Academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale.
