Overview

Join Pfizer's mission to enhance patient lives by playing a critical role in engineering activities that ensure medicines are delivered effectively. Collaborate within a visionary team focusing on manufacturing process design and maintenance to help meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance and reliability engineering for utility systems, building infrastructure, and equipment, including redesign and repairs.
  • Contribute to projects of moderate complexity, organizing time efficiently and developing short-term work schedules.
  • Support engineering efforts by preparing scopes of work, project execution plans, and conducting engineering evaluations for equipment installation or modifications.
  • Provide operational assistance, review both preventive and corrective work orders, and oversee technical documentation and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with calibration standards aligned with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), modern technology applications, and aseptic best practices.
  • Engage in Root Cause Failure Analysis, update equipment reliability strategies, and collaborate with production and quality leads.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture by adhering to site safety protocols and conducting proactive safety evaluations.
  • Participate actively in site and corporate initiatives and facilitate communication among quality, operations, and regulatory teams for prompt investigation resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or equivalent with over 8 years' experience, or an associate degree with more than 6 years' experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM process optimization, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
  • Familiarity with process automation systems.
  • In-depth understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP).
  • Proficient communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Competent in MS Excel usage.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and build consensus across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills in technical writing and reviewing documentation.
  • Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and optimal aseptic procedures.
  • Proactive in fostering a safe work environment.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to enhance problem-solving, productivity, and adhere to ethical AI practices.
