Role Overview

As an Associate Fund Controller at GPFS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction, supporting investors, and building enduring relationships while advancing your own professional career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding client service by managing a range of tasks including transaction recording and analysis, reconciliations, and compiling workpaper packages.
  • Facilitate and support the external audit processes, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Prepare financial statements quarterly and annually in accordance with required reporting standards.
  • Calculate and assess sophisticated financial models such as waterfalls, distribution notices, and management fees.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by managing expectations, addressing questions, and ensuring all deliverables are completed.
  • Mentor and guide Accountants and Senior Accountants to aid their professional development and foster team growth.
  • Review the outputs of Accountants and Senior Accountants to guarantee precision and high quality.
  • Manage and support year-end audit procedures, collaborating with external auditors and tax specialists to provide necessary financial documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience after qualification.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
