Job description
Role Overview
The Associate Financial Analyst will contribute to various financial functions such as data gathering, consolidation, interpretation, reconciliation of financial invoices and expenses, and applying company financial policies. This role supports other departments in analyzing financial issues and proposing solutions.
Scope of Work
The analyst provides expert analysis on financial problems and procedures across multiple areas including banking, risk management, capital markets, corporate finance, cash management, credit and market analysis, forecasting, and insurance related to financial risk management, financial modeling, and planning. Activities include monitoring international financial developments, managing relationships with shareholders and SAG, handling company receipts and disbursements, and other finance-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine research and analytical tasks.
- Assist in compiling and evaluating statistical data for cash forecasting and exchange rate computations used in company transactions.
- Monitor international economic and monetary data to identify trends impacting the company.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of Treasury policies and procedures to prevent or resolve financial issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Risk Management.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, analysis, banking, and foreign exchange.
- Adequate understanding of company operations, policies, and programs.
