Associate Director/Director - Infrastructure Advisory

Overview

A leading global advisory firm specializing in infrastructure finance is expanding its Dublin team and seeks a seasoned Associate Director or Director. This senior role requires comprehensive expertise in business growth, transaction management, project financing, and client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the management and leadership of complex infrastructure advisory projects from initial mandate acquisition through to final execution.
• Forge and sustain senior-level relationships with clients, investors, lenders, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities within Irish, European, and international infrastructure sectors.
• Lead initiatives to develop business across multiple sectors including transport, logistics, social infrastructure, data centers, renewable energy, and natural resources.
• Structure and manage debt and equity financing arrangements to ensure optimal capital frameworks.
• Supervise financial modeling, valuation exercises, due diligence processes, and investment appraisals.
• Provide expert guidance on infrastructure finance strategies, investment planning, and project structuring.
• Develop and review critical documents including information memoranda, investor presentations, proposals, and strategic growth strategies.
• Negotiate terms and agreements with lenders, investors, government bodies, and other transaction participants.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to ensure quality delivery of projects.
• Mentor junior staff members and contribute to the broader advisory practice's development.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated success in business origination—especially within Eastern European markets—transaction execution, and client management.
• Between 15 to 20 years of professional experience in infrastructure development, investment, or advisory roles.
• Extensive skills in project finance and capital markets.
• Expertise in financial modeling, business valuation, and structuring of debt and equity.
• Specialization in sectors such as transport, logistics, social infrastructure, and/or natural resources.
• Strong commercial insight combined with a well-established sector network.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
• Experience working within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
• A master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications like CFA or ACA are beneficial.
• Proficiency in additional languages is considered a significant advantage.
