Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced valuation surveyor, qualified as RICS/FRICS and registered with RICS, to join our well-established valuation team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and proactive with a keen interest in driving the strategic expansion of the team. Responsibilities include managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding a professional network.
The primary focus of this role is on valuing development land, as well as residential, mixed-use, and strategic land projects.
Generating new business leads and managing ongoing work will be key functions, so a genuine self-starter attitude is essential.
About the Team
The role is part of a broader development team of 15 members delivering land agency and development consultancy services throughout the Eastern Region. Specifically, you will join a valuation sub-team consisting of a Director, two Associate Directors, a Senior Surveyor, an Apprentice, and administrative support. The position is located in Cambridge and typically covers up to an hour's travel radius from the office.
This team specializes in providing Red Book valuations for a variety of uses including loan security, accounts, taxation, purchases, and sales. Clients are varied and include banks, landowners, developers, private individuals, as well as local authorities and registered providers.
