Job Overview

The Associate Director of Performance Marketing will spearhead the performance marketing strategies and execution to drive learner acquisition and enrollment growth across India. This leadership position blends strategic planning, expert digital marketing capabilities, data-centric decision-making, and team management to amplify demand generation effectiveness. The incumbent will build a dynamic marketing team, improve the acquisition funnel, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive national performance marketing plan aligned with organizational goals, enrollment targets, and revenue objectives.
  • Manage all facets of digital acquisition, including paid media campaigns, lead generation, conversion tracking, and marketing performance evaluation.
  • Promote quality lead generation and optimize enrollment conversions through insights-driven marketing tactics.
  • Oversee and refine multi-channel campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, display networks, affiliates, and more.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team comprising campaign managers, analysts, and agency collaborators.
  • Work in partnership with Sales, Program, Product, and Content teams to enhance lead quality, conversion rates, and learner engagement.
  • Analyze campaign results, market dynamics, competitor strategies, and buyer behaviors to continuously evolve acquisition approaches.
  • Ensure marketing excellence using advanced analytics, attribution methods, budget management, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.
  • Drive enhancements in processes, marketing automation, standard operating procedures, and best practices within the performance marketing function.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • A graduate with over 15 years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or demand generation, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles focused on higher education, EdTech, or B2C learning sectors. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in the EdTech industry is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to scale digital acquisition efforts, optimize marketing expenditures, and generate substantial enrollment growth.
  • Strong command of paid media management, marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience handling substantial marketing budgets and delivering measurable return on investment.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), marketing automation tools, web analytics platforms, and overall marketing technology ecosystems.
