Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Director to join the Data Science Training faculty at our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office. This team develops and delivers data science, analytics, and applied quantitative training programs globally for banks, regulators, corporates, and other institutions. The position involves a mix of in-house, virtual, and public teaching with strong client interaction and a focus on practical, market-driven learning.

Trainers are expected to work regularly from the office except when conducting training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute top-tier training programs in data science, analytics, and related technical fields aimed at corporate and professional learners.
• Produce engaging instructional materials such as presentations, hands-on exercises, case studies, assessments, and other resources.
• Deliver learning sessions in various formats including virtual classrooms, face-to-face, and blended learning environments.
• Break down complex technical topics into understandable and actionable content tailored for diverse audiences.
• Contribute to enhancing Fitch Learning’s data science curriculum and overall technical course offerings.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams like product development, sales, and client services to customize training solutions.
• Keep abreast of advancements in data science, machine learning, analytics, and instructional design to keep content current and relevant.
• Use feedback from learners and clients to continuously refine training quality, engagement, and learning effectiveness.
• Assist business development by providing expert input during proposals, pitches, and client engagements.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker with proficiency in delivering training sessions in Arabic.
• Strong expertise in data science, analytics, statistics, machine learning, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training or professional education programs.
• Excellent presenter capable of clearly communicating complex ideas in an engaging and understandable manner.
• Hands-on knowledge of relevant tools, programming languages, or data visualization platforms.
• Skilled in creating learner-centred, technically accurate educational content.
• Commercially astute with the ability to tailor learning solutions to client and market demands.
• Adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to quality and detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering training within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other regulated sectors.
• Knowledge applying data science methods to commercial, credit, risk, or financial contexts.
• Background in crafting customized corporate training programs.
• Understanding of best practices in learning design across digital, hybrid, and instructor-led setups.
• Innovative approach towards course content development, delivery, and assessment.
• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or related areas.
