Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned development and project management leader to influence and guide the trajectory of a major console game project. Partnering closely with Product, Creative, and Game leadership, you'll manage the project management discipline, aligning scope, resources, budget, risks, and development plans to navigate toward our objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project management for a large-scale console game, managing planning and execution against milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to translate project goals and priorities into clear and achievable development plans.
• Manage project-wide scope, capacity, and resource allocation, balancing ambition with available resources and timelines.
• Implement robust risk management practices, proactively identifying and addressing high-impact risks with leadership.
• Enhance workflows, processes, and organizational structures to empower effective collaboration and scaled delivery.
• Handle project budgeting and forecasting; contribute to broader studio resource and capacity planning.
• Coordinate complex development dependencies among internal teams, external partners, and co-development studios.
• Maintain transparent communication on project health, priorities, risks, and trade-offs with studio leadership and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive leadership experience in production, development, or project management for large-scale AAA Console/PC game projects.
• Proven success guiding complex game projects through multiple development stages, ideally through launch.
• Strong expertise in managing complex schedules, budgets, resources, and dependencies across multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in scope management, balancing creative ambition with production realities for informed decision-making.
• Effective risk identification and management capabilities, offering structure and sound judgement in challenging scenarios.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to build trust, influence senior stakeholders, and align creative, technical, product, and production teams.
• Experience working at scale with distributed teams, co-development partners, outsourcing vendors, or external collaborators.
• A continuous improvement mindset, adept at introducing structure and evolving processes without excess bureaucracy.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience coordinating development across multiple studios or international teams is advantageous.
• History of establishing or significantly evolving production processes within dynamic or expanding studios is preferred.
• Knowledge in portfolio-level capacity planning, resource management, or production forecasting adds value.
