About the Role

Zales, part of Signet Jewelers, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to contribute to our team's success by focusing on individual and group achievement of sales and profit goals. This position involves creating a welcoming customer environment, developing team skills through training and evaluation, and supporting recruitment efforts. The Assistant Store Manager also ensures adherence to company procedures and contributes to both operational and strategic store success.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in retail, preferably within the jewelry or specialty retail sector.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems, scanners, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to understand and follow varied instructions presented in multiple formats including written, verbal, diagrammatic, and scheduled.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends.
