Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager passionate about promoting a supportive workplace that empowers the team to create memorable experiences for customers. The role offers dynamic daily challenges and opportunities within a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance store performance through support of sales outcomes, expense oversight, and management of core operations such as merchandising, backroom processes, frontline service, cash handling, markdown execution, scheduling, shipping, and receiving, emphasizing reduction of shrinkage and damage.
• Recruit and develop top talent by offering comprehensive training, mentoring, and continuous associate development, fostering a positive environment beneficial to both staff and customers.
• Communicate and implement action plans related to company projects, targets, initiatives, and store modifications; contribute insights for succession planning.
• Devise and execute strategies to achieve sales, expense, and customer service objectives; oversee loss prevention programs and enhance store layout and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years' retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven leadership skills directing and empowering sizable teams.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities, with effective mentorship and feedback capabilities.
• Knowledgeable in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention, with diligent follow-through on tasks and initiatives.
