Role Overview
The Assistant Store Manager reports directly to the Store Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily store operations. This position focuses on boosting sales by motivating and supporting the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service, and meeting operational goals while complying with company policies.

Compensation and Benefits

Primary Responsibilities
- Guide and coach the sales team to improve customer service and achieve sales objectives.
- Manage store operations efficiently, enforce procedures, and handle inventory management including resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with recruitment, staff development, discipline, performance evaluations, and training plans.
- Support visual merchandising to ensure appealing store presentation.
- Promote workplace safety and act as a role model by demonstrating company policies and procedures.
Working Conditions
The role requires substantial physical activity including walking and standing for most of the shift, as well as lifting, pushing, pulling, and holding boxes and fixtures weighing 35 lbs or more with support. Concentration is necessary for administrative tasks such as paperwork, cash management, and POS system use.
Working Hours
This full-time position averages 40 hours per week with open availability required to support business needs. Additional hours including holidays and blackout periods may be necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum two years of retail leadership experience, preferably in fashion or accessories sectors.
- Proficient in intermediate computer tasks, particularly MS Office applications.
- Experience operating POS (Point of Sale) systems.
