Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic Capalaba retail team on a full-time basis. This role is an excellent chance to develop your leadership abilities by managing and guiding a vibrant retail team in an energetic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the induction process for new team members to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Lead and coach store staff to achieve and surpass sales targets and KPIs.
- Handle customer query escalations effectively, providing prompt resolutions.
- Support the Store Manager and act as their deputy when required.
- Implement business strategies within the store aimed at meeting financial and customer satisfaction goals.
- Motivate and inspire the team by fostering a positive and energetic store culture.
- Coordinate the store layout and schedule staff shifts to align with customer demand.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in retail leadership or assistant management roles.
- Strong ability to motivate and energize a retail team to consistently exceed sales goals.
- Effective leadership skills with the capacity to influence and build trust with a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of resolving customer issues creatively and efficiently.
- Outstanding communication skills with the capability to assist the Store Manager in managing change.
