Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to co-lead the new Baby Bunting store located at Ballina Homemaker Centre. This role involves working alongside the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, mentor the sales team, and ensure a customer-centric atmosphere that supports parents and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the store team, facilitating onboarding, training, and fostering an empowering work environment.
- Deliver expert advice and create welcoming interactions that support parents and carers in-store.
- Manage inventory levels, support stock control, loss prevention, and collaborate with administrative and warehouse teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Promote and uphold high standards of workplace health and safety for employees and customers.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 3 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in large-format stores or as a Store Manager in smaller outlets.
- Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented approach.
- Passion for coaching and developing team members.
- Demonstrated achievements in meeting sales and performance objectives.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on safety and exemplary service delivery.

Additional Information
- Employment is full-time and permanent.
- Work schedule is Sunday through Thursday.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia and will undergo a Right to Work verification.
