Role Summary
As the Assistant Store Manager at our Launceston location, you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to lead a passionate team of casual employees. Your main responsibilities include driving sales performance, supporting team development and engagement, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers a dynamic environment for honing leadership skills and fostering a vibrant store culture.
Key Duties
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals, KPIs, and uphold visual merchandising standards.
- Inspire and motivate the team to consistently excel in sales results and customer satisfaction.
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to celebrate successes and identify growth potential.
- Manage staff scheduling and labor costs to align with organizational targets and operational needs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to increase team morale, facilitate training, and support succession planning.
- Oversee inventory levels, store presentation, loss prevention efforts, and ensure operational standards are met.
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety policies and compliance with relevant state and national laws.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in senior casual, key holder, third-in-charge, or supervisory roles within a high-traffic retail environment.
- Proven leadership abilities with success in meeting sales targets and driving KPI accomplishments.
- Proactive and practical leader with a determined 'Make it Happen' approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing team members.
- Solid knowledge of stock control and visual merchandising practices.
- A genuine passion for enhancing the customer experience and working with premium footwear brands.
