Role Overview
The Assistant Store Manager role, based full-time onsite in Patna, involves supporting day-to-day store operations. Key duties include supervising the team, managing inventory and store displays, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer interactions, resolving issues swiftly, and promoting a positive shopping experience. This position also entails monitoring sales data, assisting with cash handling processes, supporting loss prevention protocols, enforcing store policies, scheduling and training staff, and collaborating with leadership to enhance store performance and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service with the ability to address enquiries and resolve concerns efficiently.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing, to interact clearly with customers, teammates, and management.
- Experience or aptitude in managing retail store operations including staff coordination and stock organization.
- Knowledge and adherence to retail loss prevention procedures and security compliance.
- Prior customer-facing experience, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
- Capacity to work onsite in Patna while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Basic skills in sales reporting, cash handling, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- A minimum of a high school diploma is necessary, with a bachelor's degree in business, management, or related areas considered advantageous.
