Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to oversee all store operations and take charge in their absence. Your leadership and passion for beauty will help ensure the store meets sales objectives, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and maintains operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop store team members to provide outstanding customer experiences tailored to individual hair and beauty needs.
• Manage store operations to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, and optimizing inventory.
• Enforce safety and security protocols to protect customers, staff, and store property in alignment with company policies.
• Maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or retail sales, plus at least 1 year in sales management roles.
• Proven background in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Possessing a cosmetology license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for hair and beauty products and trends.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, sometimes while on a ladder, with or without accommodations.
• Potential exposure to fumes and odors on occasion.
• Role involves standing for long periods, walking, frequent bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipments or boxes.
• Must be comfortable working around moving machinery and may encounter irritant chemicals.
