About the Role

Become an integral part of the Skechers team at our Kilkenny store as an Assistant Store Manager. Operating since 2010 with 26 outlets across Ireland and Northern Ireland, Skechers champions positive attitudes and dynamic team communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager by managing daily store operations.
• Provide guidance and supervision to store personnel as assigned.
• Take full charge of store management in the Store Manager's absence.
• Participate in key operational areas including merchandising, customer care, and human resources.
• Compile operational reports and assist in developing recruitment and sales plans.
• Ensure inventory levels meet business needs while complying with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain an attractive store environment and promptly resolve customer concerns.
• Deliver excellent client support and efficiently resolve issues as they arise.
• Contribute towards achieving store sales targets.
• Carry out additional duties as required by senior management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial position.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Availability to work flexible and variable schedules.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
