Assistant Store Manager

About the Role

Join our premium furniture and home decor retail brand with a focus on providing a personalized and consultative sales experience in Noida's bustling Central Retail Hub. As an In-Store Retail Sales & Design Consultant, you will be the key representative engaging with walk-in clients, including homeowners and interior enthusiasts. This role emphasizes customer-centric selling by helping clients envisage and design their living spaces using our solid wood, upholstered, and modular furniture collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and understand the aesthetic and functional needs of customers who visit the showroom.
• Demonstrate our furniture collections, including finishes, fabrics, and hardware, to guide client selections.
• Achieve sales targets by converting showroom visitors into confirmed customers.
• Assist customers with space planning by verifying room dimensions and recommending layouts and finishes.
• Prepare quotations, manage orders through POS/CRM systems, and process payments.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and update customers accordingly.
• Address customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain showroom presentation including displays, lighting, and product tagging aligned with brand standards.
• Support regular stock audits and inventory control.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 4 years’ experience in retail sales or consultative roles within furniture, home decor, interior design studios, modular kitchens, or luxury retail sectors.
• Graduate degree required; diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Visual Merchandising is preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and ability to close sales effectively.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Hindi, both verbal and interpersonal.
• Familiarity with space planning, reading floor plans, and measuring dimensions.
• Comfortable using retail software, CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and email platforms.
• Willingness to work six days a week including weekends, with operational showroom hours from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Compensation & Work Conditions

• Competitive base salary between 40,000 and 65,000 INR per month, supplemented by performance-based sales incentives and bonuses.
