Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in cultivating a supportive workplace and leading the team to deliver exceptional shopping experiences. This position offers engaging daily challenges and requires adaptability to a fast-evolving retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance store performance by managing sales, expenses, merchandising, inventory control, customer service, scheduling, shipping, receiving, and loss prevention with a focus on reducing shrinkage and damages.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a motivating environment that supports employee growth and high-quality customer interaction.
• Execute company initiatives and store projects, provide strategic input on succession planning, and communicate action plans effectively.
• Develop and implement plans to meet sales, expense, and service targets while optimizing store layout and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• At least two years’ experience in retail leadership in positions such as Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop a large team.
• Strong organizational skills paired with excellent communication abilities to provide clear guidance and constructive feedback.
• Comprehensive knowledge of store operations including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention practices.

Compensation includes hourly pay ranging from $22.70 to $31.20, with eligibility for bonuses and overtime. Annual pay ranges approximately from $56,577 to $77,762, depending on skills and experience.
