Assistant Store Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of one year of prior experience in managing retail apparel stores either as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in staff training, customer relationship building, and maintaining daily store operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training to staff focusing on customer relationship management and grooming standards.
• Maintain daily store checklists and ensure cleanliness and hygiene across the store including mirrors, racks, and flooring.
• Manage cash handling procedures with accuracy.
• Support achieving monthly sales targets and monitor sales performance.
• Handle store accounting tasks such as managing sales records, challans, invoices, and vouchers.
• Oversee stock management for inward and outward processes, including stock indenting according to customer demands.
• Maintain fixed asset records properly.
• Brief staff on new stock arrivals, organizational objectives, sales goals, and visual merchandising standards.
• Change mannequin displays every alternative day to enhance visual appeal.
• Ensure all stock items are properly tagged with barcodes and labels.
• Address minor staff or customer issues at the store management level.
• Collaborate with audit teams during stock verification processes.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports promptly to headquarters.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager within retail apparel outlets.
