Job description
About the Role
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable individuals for the position of Assistant Professor for Management or MBA programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering teaching and mentoring activities to students enrolled in business and management courses. Strong expertise in subject matter, good communication skills, and inclination toward practical, industry-oriented teaching methodologies are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures and practical sessions on management topics.
- Design lesson plans, presentations, learning materials, and assignments.
- Carry out internal assessments, examinations, and evaluations of students.
- Provide mentoring for both academic progress and career guidance.
- Assist in curriculum and course development efforts.
- Organize and coordinate seminars, workshops, industrial visits, internships, and student projects.
- Incorporate case studies and real business scenarios into teaching.
- Take part in academic activities within the department and institution.
Preferred Areas of Specialization
Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, International Business, Healthcare/Hospital Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, and other related management disciplines.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants should hold an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognized university or institution. Having NET, SET, or Ph.D. qualifications is preferred where applicable. Candidates must fulfill the prescribed qualification criteria of the program or institution. Fresh graduates with outstanding subject knowledge and strong communication and teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply for appropriate roles.
