Job description
Job Purpose
This role supports product marketing tasks and oversees the assigned product portfolio within Singapore. Key responsibilities include forecasting, managing campaigns, handling inventory and product catalogues, and executing marketing initiatives aimed at launching new products, increasing brand visibility, and growing market share.
Main Duties
- Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely product forecast submissions for the portfolio managed.
- Assortment and Catalogue Management: Keep an eye on competitor product assortments to pinpoint market priorities and growth prospects. Maintain local portfolio catalogues, ensuring they are updated promptly and obsolete items are removed.
- Product Listing and Distribution: Work alongside sales teams to guarantee on-time product listings and optimal distribution to key retail outlets.
- Special Range and Line Expansion: Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as e-commerce, retail, merchandising, training, and field staff to discover opportunities, develop expansion strategies, and promote specialized product lines or secondary ranges.
- Campaign and Launch Execution: Assist in planning and carrying out comprehensive marketing campaigns and new product launches through channels like CRM, training, retail, e-commerce, and media.
- Collateral and Event Support: Coordinate the preparation of launch materials and facilitate promotional events and brand activations.
- Analytics and Expense Management: Monitor and analyze category market share, sell-in and sell-out data, along with competitor behavior within the local market.
- Budget Oversight: Handle budgets for specific sub-categories and oversee expense allocations.
Qualifications and Skills
- A university or college degree is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Experience range of 3 to 5 years in product marketing.
- Previous work in luxury goods or the beauty/retail sectors is an advantage.
