Job Overview
The Assistant Operations Engineer role involves providing engineering support within a designated operational area. The role requires ensuring that all designs, drawings, and documentation comply with Client standards, operational needs, industry regulations, Expro's Quality Management System (QMS), and health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design of products that are safe to produce, operate, and handle while adhering to applicable specifications and certification standards, ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability, and suitability.
- Assist in generating and reviewing engineering documentation such as project design drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), testing procedures, and detailed reports.
- Carry out engineering calculations necessary to validate design intentions.
- Utilize engineering software systems and packages effectively in daily tasks.
- Manage the input and configuration of engineering documents within the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
- Participate actively in design reviews and engineering meetings as required.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Possession of an engineering degree relevant to the field.
- Experience with computer-aided engineering methods, including 2D and 3D modeling techniques.
- Understanding of engineering systems, recognized standards, and best practices within the industry.
