Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of AI and Generative AI systems tailored to resolve client challenges and support digital transformation projects.
• Develop AI infrastructure, technical frameworks, and deployment methodologies aligned with client needs and best practices in the industry.
• Collaborate across functions to identify, prioritize, and define AI use cases and business opportunities.
• Create and integrate AI applications leveraging large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agentic architectures.
• Customize and deploy pretrained transformer models for tasks such as content generation, summarization, information retrieval, conceptual querying, and conversational AI.
• Evaluate client data platforms and processes to identify AI integration points and recommend enhancements.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects including proofs of concept, pilots, and production deployments ensuring quality and compliance.
• Ensure solutions comply with responsible AI principles, governance, data privacy, security, intellectual property, and regulatory standards.
• Guide model evaluation, validation, monitoring, and performance optimization, ensuring outputs meet expectations and risks are mitigated.
• Review and approve technical documentation, architectural diagrams, implementation plans, client communications, and project status reports.
• Manage client relationships and project teams to ensure adoption, knowledge transfer, and measurable outcomes from AI initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate consultants and senior consultants to support their career growth and ensure delivery excellence.
• Coordinate engagement scope, resourcing, timelines, budgets, risk management, and escalation in alignment with leadership.
• Contribute to proposal development, solution refinement, client workshops, and AI business development activities.
• Stay abreast of evolving AI technologies and industry trends, translating insights into client solutions and internal capabilities.

Technical Expertise

• Proficient programming skills in Python with familiarity in software engineering practices; knowledge of R or Java is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ML and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Expertise with Generative AI tools including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and model orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of natural language processing methods and transformer architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, particularly their AI services and deployment models.
• Understanding of data analytics technologies including SQL, Apache Spark, data pipelines, and integration techniques.
• Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps concepts covering model deployment, versioning, monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of API integrations, microservices architecture, and enterprise application integration patterns.
• Exposure to platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and AI services on Azure is beneficial.
• Experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI and Tableau adds advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, data science, analytics, software engineering, or technology consulting, with levels dependent on expertise depth.
• Proven track record in leading end-to-end AI and Generative AI solution delivery.
• Experience working within cloud-based AI services and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, excellent documentation, and compelling communication abilities for executive audiences.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and establishing trusted client relationships.
• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams, budgets, timelines, and risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Professional certifications in cloud, AI, ML, data engineering, or project management are advantageous.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience with foundation models and LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Llama, Qwen, Claude, or Gemini.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation techniques and enterprise knowledge assistant applications.
• Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and orchestration platforms like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience with vector search technologies including Azure AI Search, Elasticsearch, Pinecone, and Weaviate.
• Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, AI security, observability, and model evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, AI governance, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Expertise in solution architecture, technical documentation, Agile practices, and client presentations.
