Primary Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the operation of a single Panda Express store. Your efforts are crucial to the store's overall success. To ensure you are well-prepared, you will undergo a leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Candidate Requirements
- Must have earned a high school diploma
- Willing to relocate to a store location within 50 miles from your home
- Availability for a flexible work schedule including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business needs
- Food Safety certification: ServSafe credential required
Physical and Work Environment
This role requires working in environments often hot with steam and food vapors, and in confined spaces. Employees are generally on their feet for extended periods and must handle preparation of both hot and cold foods using kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives. The job involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours, and reaching across standard counters. Kitchens are noisy with limited storage space, and employees must quickly adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic workspace while communicating effectively and managing conflicts gracefully.
