This position is for a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not directly by McDonald's USA. The franchisee owns the license to use McDonald's branding and products but functions as a separate employer. As such, all employment-related issues including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee. McDonald's USA is not involved in any employment decisions or processes regarding this job.
Job Overview
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in assisting the General Manager to operate a profitable restaurant while ensuring it meets McDonald's rigorous customer standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This position involves leadership responsibilities including hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team prepared for future success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have prior management experience, preferably in high-volume outlets. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly favored, although hospitality or retail backgrounds will also be considered. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in these franchise-operated restaurants.
