This job opportunity is at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, distinct from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license for using McDonald's branding and products but operates independently, handling all employment-related decisions including hiring and management. McDonald's USA does not influence staffing or employment processes at this location.
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing a profitable restaurant operation, ensuring adherence to McDonald's standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness—an important responsibility given the high standards expected.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing restaurant operations to meet financial goals and customer service expectations.
- Ensure the restaurant maintains McDonald's critical standards for quality, cleanliness, and service excellence.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor Department and Shift Managers to establish a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
- Previous management experience is preferred, especially in high-volume environments.
- Experience in quick service restaurants is highly desirable; hospitality or retail backgrounds are also valuable.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management positions within the franchise-operated store.
