Assistant Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee a single store’s operations by hiring, supervising, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives while delivering excellent guest service. You'll play a crucial role in the store’s success, supported by a leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Willingness to relocate within 50 miles of home to another store if needed
• Availability for flexible scheduling including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Safety certification (Serve Safe) required

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work involves standing for prolonged periods up to four hours and performing tasks in high-temperature kitchen areas with steam and food vapors. Employees will use kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives and must maintain accuracy under pressure. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and reach across 36-inch counters is required. The kitchen environment can be noisy with limited storage space and high shelving. Effective verbal communication and adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced conditions are essential.

Salary Information

The pay range for this role is $25 to $28 per hour. Individual pay within this range depends on factors such as location and experience. Bonus programs are discretionary and subject to change without notice.
