Position Overview
We are seeking ambitious, commercially focused Assistant Managers to join our growing Transaction Services team based in Dublin or Belfast, Ireland. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to building our Transaction Services capability, working on diverse buy-side and sell-side deal assignments in partnership with seasoned Transaction Services leaders and the broader Interpath international network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of Transaction Services projects, including both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify important trends, performance drivers, risks, and value creation opportunities.
- Produce high-quality client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and supporting analyses.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, management teams, and other advisors during the transaction process.
- Utilize analytical skills to interpret complex financial information and provide actionable insights to aid investment decision-making.
- Take responsibility for assigned workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues through clear communication and proactive engagement.
- Collaborate with Irish teams and Interpath’s global transaction network on cross-border projects.
- Contribute to business development activities including market research, proposal development, and internal initiatives.
- Continuously enhance your technical knowledge and keep abreast of transaction trends and market developments.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or anticipated qualification by 2026 with relevant experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, Audit, Corporate Finance or similar advisory roles.
- Experience in Financial Due Diligence or transaction advisory is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong audit professionals interested in transitioning into transaction advisory are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and ability to analyze financial information to extract key insights.
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and transactional advisory services.
- Confident and effective communicator capable of building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow within the Transaction Services team.
- Prior experience at a Big 4, mid-tier accounting firm, or advisory practice is advantageous but not essential.
