About the Role

Panda Express, a leader in the restaurant industry, is seeking experienced individuals to join our store management team as Assistant Managers. Primary Duties

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the operation of a single Panda Express store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates with the goal of achieving financial targets and delivering outstanding guest experiences. We provide a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting at least 3 weeks to prepare you for success.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory
• Flexibility to relocate to a store within 50 miles of residence
• Availability for a flexible work schedule that includes opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands
• Food safety certification (Serve Safe) required

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Employees will often work in busy kitchen environments where steam and food vapors are present. Standing for extended periods (up to 4 hours), lifting loads up to 50 lbs., and working quickly with kitchen tools like Chinese cook knives are essential. The workplace is fast-paced and noisy with high shelves and limited storage space. Staff must exhibit effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to manage conflict.

Compensation Range

The salary ranges from $29 to $32 per hour, determined by factors including location and experience. Bonus earnings are not guaranteed and may be revised or ended at the company's discretion.
