Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the management of a single store location. Your duties include hiring, guiding, and supervising associates to meet financial objectives while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will be instrumental in driving the store’s success and will receive over three weeks of structured leadership training to equip you for the role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
• Willingness and ability to relocate to a store within 50 miles of your residence
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business demands dictate
• Current Serve Safe food safety certification

Working Conditions and ADA Statement

This role involves working in hot environments with exposure to steam and food vapors. Workspace may be confined with prolonged standing required. Tasks entail preparing hot and cold foods, using specialty kitchen tools like Chinese cook knives, and operating kitchen equipment swiftly and accurately. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for up to four hours, and reaching over 36-inch countertops to serve customers. The work setting is typically noisy with limited storage and high shelving. Candidates should demonstrate excellent verbal communication, adaptability to rapidly changing priorities, and effective conflict management skills.
