About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will assist with managing the daily operations of a single Panda Express location. Your duties include hiring, supervising, and guiding associates to meet financial objectives and ensure exceptional customer service. To prepare you for leadership success, we offer a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three weeks or more.

Desired Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of current residence if necessary
- Availability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safety certification (Serve Safe) mandatory
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Roles require standing for extended periods in a busy kitchen environment often exposed to heat, steam, and noise. Tasks involve preparation of both hot and cold foods, use of kitchen tools including Chinese cook knife, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to adapt to fast-paced settings, communicate effectively, manage conflicts, and adjust to changing priorities.

Salary Details
The pay range for this position is $27 to $30 per hour, depending on factors such as location and experience. Bonus eligibility is not guaranteed and may be modified at the company’s discretion.
