Assistant Manager - Pritchard's Hotel

Role Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for Pritchard's Hotel in Mt Pritchard, NSW. This vibrant local pub is beloved by the community and features a casual Bistro, lively Sports Bar, and relaxing Beer Garden, serving an extensive range of beverages alongside great food and atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop close rapport with regular patrons, becoming a familiar and trusted face at the pub.
• Assist the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations with a welcoming environment.
• Learn the essentials of Publican duties while leading and motivating a dedicated hospitality team.
• Address and resolve operational issues proactively to prevent disruptions during service.
• Maintain high energy, quality customer service, and positive attitude during every shift.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock, kegs, and deliveries safely and effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience working in bar, bistro, or gaming room environments, with some supervisory exposure.
• Strong desire to advance professionally by taking on leadership responsibilities.
• Confident with excellent interpersonal skills, able to represent the pub in the absence of management.
• Hold current RSA, RCG, and ARCG certifications as required by state regulations.
