About the Role

As an Assistant Manager at Panda Express, you will support the management and smooth operation of one restaurant location. Your responsibilities include recruiting, supervising, and guiding team members to meet financial targets and deliver outstanding guest service experiences. To equip you for success, we provide a comprehensive leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of current residence.
• Availability for a dynamic schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays as business demands.
• Must hold Serve Safe certification demonstrating food safety knowledge.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Work often takes place in hot environments with exposure to steam and food vapors, requiring standing for prolonged periods. You will handle kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives and prepare both hot and cold foods promptly and accurately. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and reaching across counters. High noise levels and limited storage space are typical. Strong verbal communication, adaptability in a fast-paced setting, and conflict management skills are essential.
