Key Responsibilities
- Oversee leasing processes for retail units and temporary pop-up spaces to maximize occupancy rates and revenue generation.
- Formulate leasing strategies in alignment with the integrated resort's retail objectives and implement plans to secure the targeted tenant mix and rental income.
- Manage all facets of lease operations including prospecting and identifying new retail concepts, marketing, lease negotiations for new and renewal agreements, and handling other lease-related matters.
- Spot and capitalize on emerging retail trends and opportunities suitable for retail spaces.
- Handle leasing inquiries and maintain an updated leasing database.
- Ensure timely review and completion of lease documentation.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Retail teams for tenancy coordination on renovations, Legal teams for lease documentation, and Retail Management for daily operational issues.
- Establish and nurture strong landlord-tenant relationships to conduct ongoing discussions about tenant performance and business direction.
- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ activities.
- Prepare leasing budgets, management reports, and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Real Estate Management.
- At least 5 years of leasing experience within a major shopping center, retail agency, or retail group.
- Proven successful negotiation and lease closure record with retailers, especially luxury brands.
- Familiarity with and strong interest in Food and Beverage (F&B) sector.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
