Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Assistant Manager to oversee the entire logistics and supply chain operations for a prominent Indian bakery company located in Thane. The role encompasses managing warehousing, cold chain processes, route planning, dispatch activities, inventory control, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensuring compliance with FSSAI regulations, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing on-time deliveries are critical components of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end logistics and warehousing functions including cold chain management.
• Plan and execute route optimization to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Manage inventory, dispatch schedules, and van fleets ensuring seamless operations.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and maintain compliance with FSSAI standards.
• Lead and guide the logistics and supply chain team effectively to meet organizational goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 6 to 7 years of experience in logistics with substantial knowledge of warehouse operations and cold chain management.
• Expertise in route planning, inventory control, van management, and leadership abilities.
• Strong understanding of cost reduction strategies and compliance requirements.
