Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Manager for the Land Titles Registry to oversee the processing and registration of legal documents related to land transactions across various property types, ensuring adherence to service standards and maintaining the integrity of the Land Register System.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process and register legal documentation for land transactions involving private, public, commercial, and industrial properties, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability of the Land Register.
- Provide assistance to members of the public and solicitors throughout the conveyancing process.
- Coordinate and communicate with relevant ministries and agencies such as CPF Board, URA, LTA, JTC, and HDB regarding land registration matters.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a background in Law or Legal studies, or have 1 to 4 years of experience as a conveyancing secretary within a law firm.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of land and conveyancing law practices and familiarity with related legislation including the Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act, Residential Property Act, as well as laws concerning bankruptcy, corporate matters, trusts, and succession.
- Open to candidates without prior relevant experience, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ability to work effectively under pressure, and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Capable of handling administrative tasks efficiently.
