About The Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time role based in Kronberg, Germany within Fidelity International’s Core Operations department at level 4. About Your Team
The German Core Operations team is embedded in a global Operations organization focused on managing Corporate Actions and Reconciliation processes. Operating within a fast-paced and strictly regulated environment, the team ensures accurate, timely corporate action processing, protects client asset integrity, and minimizes operational risks. Their mission centers on delivering efficient, controlled, and top-quality operational services while maintaining precise records and reconciliations across the business. This is achieved through close interaction with both internal and external partners, providing expertise, resolving exceptions, and initiating continuous improvements.
About Your Role
As a team member, you will oversee Corporate Actions, such as distributions, alongside reconciliation responsibilities. Gaining comprehensive knowledge of all major operational processes will be essential. Key objectives include fulfilling regulatory obligations while guaranteeing outstanding operational service quality to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking and monitoring corporate actions
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Verifying and reconciling positions against custodian records
- Identifying and rectifying reconciliation breaks
- Participating in projects and driving operational improvements
- Performing testing and approving system and process enhancements
About You
- Preferably completed banking apprenticeship or academic studies in finance
- Proficiency in both business English and German
- Confidence and a client-focused attitude
- Strong motivation and ability to collaborate effectively
- Commitment to high-quality assurance and awareness of risk management
