Overview

Join KPMG's dynamic Asset Management Solution team within Managed Services, part of KPMG Advisory, supporting government, infrastructure, and asset-heavy clients to resolve complex challenges. This role focuses on projects across both private and public sectors, particularly in Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, Oil, and Gas industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing operating models and driving business transformation initiatives.
  • Supporting strategic asset investment planning and business plan creation.
  • Implementing efficiency programs targeting capital and operational expenditures.
  • Providing asset and portfolio resilience strategies, including maintenance scheduling.
  • Ensuring compliance with asset accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting internal assurance and peer reviews of critical business processes.
  • Offering investor assurance related to asset performance and transaction due diligence.
  • Developing effective solutions collaboratively with colleagues across various seniority levels.
  • Creating high-quality, client-ready presentations, documents, and spreadsheets that exceed expectations.
  • Leading workstreams or contributing to larger projects closely with workstream leaders.
  • Engaging with clients professionally to represent KPMG's interests positively.
  • Encouraging a collaborative, inclusive team culture and contributing to team development.
  • Supporting business development by assisting in proposal and bid preparation.
  • Promoting continuous learning by staying current with technical best practices and industry developments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in implementation or upgrading of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 55000 International Standard for Asset Management.
  • Background in asset-intensive industries either as a consultant or client, improving operations with established methodologies.
  • Strong motivation, ambition, and capability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
  • Effective team player who collaborates inclusively and works well with colleagues.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving client requirements.
  • Solid understanding of operational challenges across Telecoms, Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, Oil, and Gas sectors.
  • Competence in evaluating risks at both business and asset portfolio levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Holds a first-class or 2:1 degree in a relevant discipline.
