Assistant Manager - Accounts

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee accounting and finance functions within a manufacturing setup specializing in corrugated boards and boxes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and take full responsibility for their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage everyday bookkeeping including general entries and financial transactions.
• Handle banking operations such as cheque processing and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with audit procedures ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Supervise accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Administer invoice/bill processing and documentation management.
• Utilize accounting software like Tally and SAP effectively.
• Leverage MS Excel and MS Office tools for accounting tasks and reporting.
• Take full ownership of assigned duties within daily operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Tally and SAP accounting software.
• Strong command of MS Excel and MS Office suite.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financing, and bank transaction processes.
• Experience managing accounts receivable and payable.
• Knowledgeable in bill management and audit support activities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a managing attitude and accountability.

Additional Information

• Position is exclusively open to male candidates.
• Must hold a graduate degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, particularly in corrugated board/box production.
• Work schedule is day shift.
• Salary range: ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
