Panda Express is actively seeking seasoned leaders to join our store management team. As an Assistant Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the operation of a single store, encompassing hiring, directing, and managing associates to meet financial objectives while ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in the success of your store by leading and motivating your team. Preparation for this role includes participation in a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius of current residence if necessary.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
• Must hold valid Serve Safe Food Safety certification.

Physical and Work Environment Considerations

Workspaces often involve heat from steam tables and food vapors, with limited space and standing for extended periods. Tasks require handling hot and cold foods, using kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and working swiftly yet accurately. The role demands the ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds, stand for up to four hours, and reach across 36-inch countertops. Kitchens may be noisy and storage space limited. Essential skills include effective verbal communication, adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments, and conflict management.

Salary Details

The pay range for this position is $23 to $26 per hour. Individual wages are determined by factors such as location and experience. Bonus eligibility is not guaranteed and programs may change without notice.
