NABKISAN Finance Limited (NKFL), a subsidiary of NABARD, is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) with a balance sheet exceeding Rs.7000 Crore. It predominantly supports agriculture and rural initiatives by providing loans to various borrower segments such as Producer Organizations, NBFCs, MFIs, corporates, agri startups, and more. NKFL is recognized as a key lender to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level (L1) assistance for business applications, end-user devices, and IT infrastructure across the company.
• Manage IT incidents and requests by receiving, logging, categorizing, tracking, and resolving them via the helpdesk ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot issues related to applications, desktops, laptops, operating systems, email, printers, and network connectivity.
• Support user needs involving application access, login problems, password resets, role assignments, and permissions adjustments.
• Escalate complex issues unresolved at L1 to software vendors or internal technical teams, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with external vendors for fixing application defects, system faults, warranty services, and hardware repairs.
• Install, configure, and maintain authorised operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, antivirus tools, and other standard IT applications.
• Offer assistance with Microsoft 365 services, email systems, VPNs, video conferencing, and team collaboration platforms.
• Participate in testing patches, bug fixes, configuration updates, and minor feature enhancements for applications.
• Support and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including recording test outcomes and reporting issues.
• Monitor and manage support tickets ensuring they meet service level agreements with prompt action and follow-up.
• Document incidents, fixes, temporary workarounds, user manuals, and FAQs comprehensively.
• Conduct introductory training sessions for users and advise on effective utilization of IT systems and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets including desktops, laptops, peripherals, software licenses, and related hardware.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, including device assignments, asset returns, and user account management.
• Implement operating system patches, antivirus updates, and approved software upgrades on end-user devices.
• Generate periodic reports regarding support activities, pending issues, asset inventories, and resolution statuses.
• Ensure all IT support activities comply with organisational policies on IT governance, information security, and asset management.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Electronics or related field.
• Alternatively, any graduate with recognized diploma or certification in computer hardware, networking, system administration, or IT support.
• Certifications in desktop support, networking, Microsoft technologies, IT service management, or cybersecurity are advantageous.

Experience

• At least three years’ experience in application support, IT helpdesk, desktop support, or end-user IT infrastructure support roles.

Other Criteria

• Maximum age limit of 30 years at the time of application.
• Proficient in English communication (reading, writing, speaking).

Location & Posting

Primary location of work is Chennai, India. However, candidates may be required to relocate anywhere in the country depending on administrative needs.

Compensation and Terms

Remuneration will be in accordance with industry standards.
