Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and guest-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join a distinguished luxury hotel located in Doha, Qatar. The candidate should possess extensive experience in high-end hospitality settings, demonstrate superb leadership qualities, and have a background in front office management to uphold outstanding guest service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Front Office Manager in directing daily operations of the Front Office.
- Deliver personalized and impeccable guest service aligned with luxury hotel expectations.
- Guide and assist the Front Office team members including receptionists, concierge staff, guest relations personnel, and bell services.
- Oversee guest check-ins, check-outs, VIP guest arrivals, and accommodate special requests.
- Address guest complaints and service failures professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Coordinate effectively with other hotel departments to maintain operational harmony.
- Track room availability, occupancy rates, and overall operational necessities.
- Facilitate briefings, coaching sessions, and training programs for Front Office staff.
- Maintain exemplary standards of professional appearance and service quality.
- Help implement upselling strategies to boost room revenue.
- Ensure adherence to the hotel's policies, procedures, and brand specifications.
- Compile operational reports and provide assistance in administrative duties within the department.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Front Office Manager during their absence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of five years’ front office experience, ideally in luxury or five-star hotel environments.
- Previous roles as Assistant Front Office Manager, Duty Manager, or Front Office Manager are essential.
- Proficient understanding of luxury guest services and front office operations.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is required.
- Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera, is preferred.
- Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced luxury setting while managing pressure.
- Familiarity with managing VIP and high-profile guests.
- Experience working in Qatar or the GCC luxury hospitality sector is advantageous.
