Role Overview
Irish Pensions & Finance (IPF) invites individuals eager to build a career in financial advising to join their team. As an Assistant Financial Advisor, you will progress toward becoming a fully qualified Financial Advisor, collaborating closely with a group of experienced advisors.
Key Duties
- Conduct reviews and identify opportunities to upgrade existing customer benefit plans.
- Work diligently towards achieved sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Arrange appointments and support financial advisors in their client engagements.

A significant portion of their business comes from public sector clients and management of 152 union-sponsored salary deduction AVC schemes. Ideal Candidate Profile
Applicants must be committed to a career in financial advising, demonstrating either prior sales experience or a strong interest in sales-oriented client service. The role requires comfort with outbound communications, active listening, crafting client-specific financial solutions, and adherence to targets. Compensation Package
- Year 1: €60,000 OTE (base salary, bonuses, commissions)
- Year 2: €75,000 OTE, including expenses
- Year 3: €90,000 OTE, including expenses
- Year 4+: Senior Financial Planner salary exceeding €120,000
A signing bonus is available for candidates qualifying as APA or QFA. Additionally, employees join the company pension plan, and life insurance is provided after 2 years.
Educational Support
Education bursaries up to €6,000 are offered to support qualifications such as QFA and CFP exams, aiding career progression.
Workplace and Training
This hybrid role blends office presence and remote work. Candidates must attend full-time onsite training during the initial 4-5 weeks.
