Assistant Field Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Assistant Field Technician responsible for supporting elevator installation work on-site. The role demands practical skills with hand tools, reading technical drawings, and the physical readiness to operate in field or construction environments. Wearing safety equipment and adhering to strict safety standards on site is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing mechanical components of elevator systems according to prescribed methods in designated project areas.
• Perform final adjustments ensuring mechanical elevator systems function correctly.
• Install and connect electrical elements integral to the elevator operation.
• Coordinate material handling by moving elevator parts to installation sites under the guidance of the site supervisor.
• Provide on-ground assistance to the Installation Fitter team, particularly for Schindler elevator installations.

Skills and Requirements

• Proficiency in handling tools such as spanners, hammers, pliers, and drill machines.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply measurements accurately during installation.
• Willingness and capability to work in outdoor field and construction settings.
• Compliant with wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear throughout the work process.
